In my honest opinion, there is no match to 40 year old Honda OEM paint. If you like the color, paint the damn thing and call it good. HOK and PPG are some of, if not "the best" paints out there for quality, durability, reputation, history, etc, etc. If you are piecing a bike together with non-original parts, go for it, that's the paint you should use.

I've seen a lot of you saying you can get paint from either vintage honda paint or Minitrail.com. Has anyone ordered any lately? I have been unable to reach anyone at either site. Should I just place the order and wait for the paint to show up? Maybe it's just me but I like to actually talk to someone.![]()
My order was about two months ago. They weren't the best on communication, but the products and result were great. Good to have another Ft.Worth member on this forum.

Motorhead did you just place the order on-line and how long did it take to recieve. What part of fort worth you in? I am actually in Richland Hills.
Backinthedays, I ordered online and it took nearly three weeks, but I think they were swamped and so was the U.S. Postal system at the time. (It was during Christmas week). I'm in SW Ft. Worth in the Benbrook area.
