Thumbs up kill switch for a trx 70 fourwheeler

hello all thanks for all the help when i was getting my 1970 ct 70 back form the dead. my kids love it. my next project is fixing their 1986 trx 70 honda 4-wheeler. i need a new handlebar mounted kill/ignition switch. it mounts on the left handlebar and slides from off-run-off. if someone has one or knows of a place i can get one that would be great. i tried dratv and trail bikesand e bay no luck. thanks

There is a seller on e-bay that has a switch for the trx125 which you could certainly adapt. It also includes light switches if you wanted to go with that upgrade.

For your information, it is a widely held belief (not confirmed that I know of) that trx70 stators have a yellow wire taped off in the harness that is for lighting that is not used from the factory. If that is true, it would be pretty simple to add some lighting. There is a reference to this somewhere on the DR ATV site.

I have one and intend to do just that for my 4 year old, so we can ride together. If I do that, I will need to add some lighting controls anyway.

If you don't care about stock, stop by a wrecking yard and see what else you can find to adapt.
