Need a CT70 Kick Start Shaft and a Retainer

We just bought our Dad the bike he always wanted as a kid - a 1971 candy gold CT70 - and it's in great shape, looks good and runs strong ... so long as you bump start it. We found a local guy who'll fix the kickstart for $200 if I can supply him a kick start shaft and the retainer thingie. Both are currently stripped on soon-to-be-Dad's bike. I have Paypal and live in Los Angeles 90039 - I have looked on ebay but the only one that's buy-it-now looks kinda beat up ... thanks!

Look at the link below for the part. If your going to have him split the cases to install this, might as well be a new part. Scroll down the page a bit and you will see the washers and retainer as well. Pretty inexpensive I think.

I have found I get my packages sooner if I use USPS rather than the other options.

http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c..._2020_26616461 THis is the OEM kick start shaft.

CT70 GO to this page and scroll down to ct70 aftermarket parts. The kick start lever is $10. This is the short one that will fit. The other kick starter are to long and hit the muffler. Good luck.

I am pretty sure the kick start (arm) you pointed to is what attaches to the kick start spindle. They want the kick starter shaft (spindal).
