Rear shocks for a fat man

    Hey all
working on my trail70 finally, and am trying to source some rear shocks. I understood the shocks that DEX was selling on ebay were pretty sturdy, but haven't seen any lately (haven't searched today). Any idea where i can get some decent shocks at a reasonable price?
    Thanks
    Bryan

Stock length is 330mm, I believe.

    Cheers!

330 is nominal length. Anything up to 350 is okay. The stockers, while nicely made, have such weak springs that almost anything is an improvment, just by virtue of having springs better suited to rider weight over 120lbs. It's possible to spend over $750 on a pair of shocks, but one can get most of the improvement (and real shocks) for $150-350. A good pair of adjustable shocks will give you a lot of bang for your suspension buck.
