Thanks Dennis and Mike! Just with the two of you, I will stay busy! Seriously, I am going to research this starting Monday. That will solve a lot of issues.

    Karen,
Not sure how lax your state is but the last EG i bought the guy went to his courthouse and got me a title for 30-35.00.That was Iowa.I would have gladly given him $$$$ for that but he offered to do it since he was getting one for another bike he had sold.Evidently some states it's a cakewalk and others a bunch of BS.

Thats pretty much how it is here for 35 years and older vehicles. The only complaint that I have is it TAKES forever in there...I mean hours. I'll have to hire someone to do that,I don't have the time to sit at DMV half a day. Once you get to the window it's pretty quick, but this county is big and there are only two DMV offices.

Actually i think that was Idaho and not Iowa.Anyway if you decide i think you could get plenty of work from here.ITS would then have some competition.

Strange. What is an inspection sticker? Here in AZ they do an initial inspection but just give you paperwork. Same thing? Anyway nothing is required to get this inspection.

Note: I buy the vin tags from the guy on eBay who prints them and sends. Was at DMV just last week and, yeah, damn vin he sent was wrong! Felt silly I didn't catch it. Anyway he had the right ones here lickety-split.

Karen, If all goes well, you could start a mini-trail titling service. You'd have my business.

An inspection sticker in Texas is a yearly safety inspection you have to get where they attach a decal similar to your registration sticker on the windshield of your car.Not sure where they put them on your bike now days ,used to have a tube that attached to your license plate where they went back in the day.
They now do an emissions test plus other bullcrap but you have to have a liability insurance card or no inspection.
