Thread: 1970 ct70h horn hardware

Hi ,My name is cyberrust and I'm new to the board. I have a horn hardware question that I am trying to figure out.I currently have 2 Ct70H emerand green bikes both manufactured on 7/70 which I purchased locally but on seperate occasions within the past 2 years.Both bikes have been laying around for quite a few years.Any way I decided that I will restore both bikes to original condition right down to the hardware.My question is the 1st bike frame serial#124701engine serial#124615 the hardware for the front fender is bolted through the fender and triple tree and into the horn bracket which is threaded with 2-16x6 bolts.The 2nd bike serial#124442engine#124373 has 2 6x36mm bolts with 16mm head bolted through fender,triple tree and horn bracket unthreaded with 2-6mm nuts on top that use 11mm socket?I checked the parts catalog for info and all I could find was 2-6x16 bolts and washers were correct.Both bikes seem to be in original untouched condition.

Welcome to the forum. My 12/70 HKO and buddy's KO both have two 6x16 bolts that pass through the lower fork and thread into the nuts that are part of the horn bracket.
