i have a 1976 ct70 with original blinkers that stick out and are in great shape.does this add value to the bike since if the bike was ever layed down the blinkers would be the first to break?

Yes, those turn signals in good condition, can fetch a pretty penny. Many collectors and restoration experts struggle to find motorcyles with good originals or excellent replacements. If in good condition, they can increase the value of the motorcycle. If you don't need them, you could remove them and sell them separately on here or Ebay. You will be amazed at how much they can sell for. Either way, good luck!

1974 CT70K3 Candy Riviera Blue (restoration-in progress)
If the bike is complete and in good shape or if you ever plan to restore/sell down the road, I'd hang onto those turn signal parts. You might never see another complete, unmolested, set and the cost of restoring these parts can be high...if you can locate a shop capable & willing to do it.
Got any pics ?
The signals were the reason i got my wife a 75.....i really like'em...not to crazy about the large brake light but it is starting to grow on me.
