    71 CT70 Brake Levers?

I just bought a 71 ct70 KO that I'm starting to restore. I'm hoping to bring it back to it's original cosmetic look and one thing I can't find anywhere is if it is supposed to have the tipped break levers or or non tipped.

I've seen pictures that are 100 point restorations with both types and was curious if anyone knows which is correct?

    Any help is appreciated.

KO bikes are supposed to have tipped brake levers.
    Welcome to the insanity!
Got any pics of your bike to post?

My 71 HKO had black tipped levers so I am replacing with Black tipped ones from CHP. Should be here today. I'll let you know what I think of them.

Got my UPS order today. The brake levers look really really good. They don't have quite the arc of the original ones and are about 1/2" longer but they will work out just fine.

The original 71s have such a nice simple chrome look that I thought maybe the tipped were from the later models but thanks for the info.

I'm going to pick up the below as they seem to be honda brand and have the right subtle curve that the original had. Anyone had any problems with this company?

Honda CT70 Left and Right Tipped Levers
Website: Honda CT70 Honda 70 Honda Minitrail NOS Parts and services Kitaco and Takegawa performance parts classic honda minitrails.
    ITEM #: 35
DESCRIPTION: Lever, Left or Right, Honda, Black Tipped
    MODEL: KO

I have only got cell phone pics of the bike but I'll take some better ones this weekend. She runs great but needs full electrical overhaul and lots of cosmetic changes to bring back to the correct look.

Thats the ones. CHP is a good company. I have ordered from them a few times and have had good success. Leave them your email so you can get a tracking number for your UPS order.

Oh and don't forget to order the bolts if yours are bad.
