    Very different

Looks like a different project for sure! You won't have to lift your leg to get on that bike, compared to a CT70!!

I love it the blue/purple bike.

It reminds me of the police academy with Bobcat Goldthwait where he asks this little nerdy lamp store owner "Nice bike, wheres the batteries"

I would rather cruise around on a Chaly with a big motor than a generic scooter or a slow moving target like a Metropolitan.

The previous owner lowered it. Chalys have the same factory stance as a CT70...

Yeah Dave dropped the thing to the ground by putting monkey springs in the front and shocks in the rear. Its a little too low for my liking. Im going to cut the original springs so it sits a little higher then it is now but lower then stock, and i need to find some shocks that are somewhere in between standard monkey height and CT height.

That is a great bike to add to your already enviable stable! I can't wait to see the outcome.

Can you read jealous all over this?

here is a small update to the chaly project.

So after some hacking at the CT for uppers and Chaly uppers I cut the original headlight ears off the CT ones and got them tacked on to the Chaly uppers. I didn't just want to swap to CT uppers because i wanted the steering stops and steering lock to function, the CT setup didn't allow this. I also got ahold of a OEM Honda Chaly front fender and located the proper fork lowers with the needed supports for the fender. I still need to cut the needed holes for the blinkers and mount them up. For the bars i really like the look of the fold downs so i found a early CT upper and added a set of fold down bars. The Chaly upper has the start stop switch and key mounted under it so ill have to fab up a bracket to make them fit under the CT upper. I used my old ZB clam shell for the left controls cause they were built into the Chaly bars, I have a ton of wiring to do cause when i got the bike it didn't have blinkers or the switch, someone must of broke them and just got rid of them all together. They will be needed to there for the DMV inspection so the current temp reg tags get clears and i get this baby a plate.
