    CT70 Back on the Road

After a clean-up, bowl gasket, oil, valve and point adjustment, new fuel line and clean tank, we took a ride....Note headlight issue, also custom shifter and fiberglass repaired point cover.
My fat butt has most likely ridden it for the last time. My wife has claimed this one because she doesn't have to worry about a clutch.

Good job! I'm tempted to get an old KO for the wife to putt around on. She's never driven a motorcycle and has no understanding on the whole clutch thing. I figured a semi-automatic KO would be perfect to get her hooked.

I would track down that rat/mouse that ate the seat and demand he restore it for you. The headlight can easily be fixed for a few dollars. I'm certain your Wife will love putting many miles on that baby!

Folks I bought it from are blaming a squirrel. And yes, wife is excited about it and she does ride as she grew up riding Z50s (one of which we now own). Her big concern at this point is the seat and having better brakes on the rear. Now that we know that driveability is not in question, we can start on cleaning, polishing, etc. Will not be doing a total resto at this time, but want to replace whatever we do with correct parts now instead of later.

Looks like it's time for some squirrel stew. Pour me a bowl too.

Ebay has a lot of KO reproductions seats available for around $100-$120.
