That looks cool Jamie! Can you post more pics of the entire bike?
Thanks Jamie...Looks great...I bet that motor is very peppy! Is the suspension on the 93's a lot better than some other later years? It seems that I have seen some more "custom" type bikes using that year.
Karen,
Yes, the suspension is really pretty good. Oil-filled on the front and the rear are similar to the Kitaco aftermarket shocks. The 12 volt CDI is definitely the way to go on these bikes, bright lights, ease of operation. Dan talked me into the 1993 setup, glad he did, just a fun little bike to cruise around on. Bought it from a pilot in N. California a while back with 92 original miles on it . He would ride it to the airport restaurant and then back to the hangar where it stayed, now has 161 original miles on it.

What year did honda come out with the 12v system?(for the ct70) If you buy chinese motor is it a plug and play or do you have to still change the harness?
Bitchin'!!! That thing is trick!
Not for certain, but I think the first year for Honda to go to 12 volt CDI was 1991. As far as the other regarding Chinese motor, I couldn't tell you. After seeing what this thing does, why would you want a Chinese motor? Not trying to be a smart ass, just wondering because it's about the same investment.
