Thread: New hko

Here are some pics of my "new" hko. I picked it up yesterday, birthdate 8/70. Nowhere near as nice as hornetgod's, but it is a start. Low mileage and title from original owners also.

The paint looks amazing! All that bike needs a few odds and ends and some cleaning and polishing and you'll make us all jealous.

Actually, I'm already envious. Your bike was manufactured the same month and year I was born (August 24, 1970). My bike was made in December of 1970.

I look forward to seeing more pictures of you new bike as it's clean up progresses.

Thanks everyone! I think for now, I am going to clean and polish everything, replace what is needed and just enjoy it!! I want to get the 69 ko done before I tackle anything else. It has been so cold here, I haven't even wanted to be out riding. So I have been indoors cleaning the green machine. Hornetgod, with that ride of yours, you have no reason to be jealous of anything!! If your bike was mine it would be in my family room with a velvet rope around it!
