    polishing fenders

    I am in the process of restoring a ct70..whats best to use on the fenders..I am not going to rechrome,

    Looking at your pic , I would suggest rechrome or to purchase new . You have scratches & pitting , your not going to polish that out . I purchase new --rear $60 -- front $79 . Good luck .

    I clean them up on a buffing wheel with compound. Your will look a little better but it appears to have many pits. Make sure you clean it before buffing.
