I am having some problems getting into all the nooks and crannies of the front hub when trying to polish with a 6" buffing wheel using tripoli. Any suggestions from the pros?

I don't know about polishing hubs, but I have used a smaller wheel in an air powered die grinder to get tight places.

1972 Honda CT70H- needs everything- step one: spark
2004 Yamaha YZFR6
2003 CBR600RR- 1100 miles and mint- except for one rod bearing
1981 Kawasaki KZ650 CSR- I just painted it- now what?
197? Fox minibike- motor swap with a snowblower- now 6hp and still old school
I used an eight inch wheel to get to most of the part and then went to a small die grinder with a cloth style formed tip to do the rest. When I was done with the small stuff I went back over it with the eight inch wheel again. When I assembled it I noticed that most of the smaller nooks and crannies were covered by another part so you might want to assemble some parts and see whats covered before you polish for days on end!

I finally get to have the bike that mom and dad couldn't afford. Only now it's better than ever!
I used a dremel tool and it worked great. Messy..a little time consuming...but turned out great.
