project "snow mini-trail" has begun!! check this out!!

after an exhausting search i finally found a snow conversion for my ct-70 i picked up 3-vintage snow shrew track and ski conversions for $150 one in great shape 2 in good shape! i wanna build a purpose built snow mini trail ! heres some pics, im using my spare frame for mock-up purposes as of now! if i cant find the motor i want to go in this frame before winter, ill throw the track under my 88cc kit trail/offroad bike.

id like to use a honda 125m threewheeler engine because it has pull-start (much easier than kicking with snowy boots on ), and it has a hi-lo tranny gear selector, i suspect this track will suck up tons of power so the 125 will help with a little extra hp aswell, also need the motor to have oem style air box so i dont suck snow/water in the carb! im going to use a brake lever as a jet-ski type throttle lever ( also alot easier to operate in wintery conditions)! thinking about some sortof windshield just for looks! going to the sled salvage yard next week to find a actual snowmobile ski with a carbide runner for the front. im just runnin with bars, motor, head and tail light, seat like i said purpose built just the bare minimum... for now!!!!

super cool, is that a correct conversion for the back end or is something you are going to "make" work?

Do you know what it's going to take to squeeze the 125M engine into a CT70 chassis? I've heard of this being done before, but haven't ever seen one up close. Also, do you intend to live with the auto clutch or do you know of a manual conversion? Just curious. While I don't really like the Hi-Lo output, the idea of slipping a bigger Honda engine into a CT is appealing, and the 125M was a US product, unlike the other "Nice" Honda engine options out there.

^ haha no i dont know what it going to take to put the 125m motor in a ct frame. i assumed it shoul be relatively a easy bolt in, i do have a spare frame to butcher if i have to, i just really wanna have pullcord start, a 125 auto, and H-L trans. im thinking the H-L will help lug this track assembly around, but also addto the astetic value aswell! lol
and yes i'll stick with the auto clutch! the fewer levers you have to grab in the snow the better! plus im sick of shiftin ! auto clutch means beverage in one hand and throttle in the other!! and by beverage i mean hot cider of course!

still no pics! somebody fix the server!!

pics of 125m motor in a ct

Here is my bike. It no longer has the 125m motor in it...i replaced it with various motors over the past year and have settled on a yx177 v2.
