    Rear CT Shock Restoration

There might be a thread already on this topic:

Does anyone have a trade secret in how to best get the rear shocks compressed back together after the restoration?

There are shock compression tools available. I believe a member here sells them. You can use mine, but it will probably cost more to ship it both ways than you can buy one for.

RySem makes and sells them...I have one of his and it is awesome. You can find pics of them if you search his threads.

Rysem sells a great tool for this, but if you are only doing one set it might not be cost effective, your not far frome me, if you need it when your ready we might be able to get together some way and you can use mine.

Thank you both Powerage 440 and Mrichard for the offer. About how much are they?

I will give Rysem a try and see how painful it will be. Knowing my luck I would borrow yours and break it. Thanks.

I don't know if he still does, but he used to have prices next to the picture of each tool he makes. I can't remember how much it is either, I bought several things from him at the same time.
