    CT90 no spark

Just picked up a 75 CT90 in pretty nice shape. However it has no spark. Any hints on where to start. Thank you

Check the points, clean & gap them. If its been sitting outside, pull the flywheel off and sand the rust out of the inside of it. Make sure plug isnt fouled. Hold it against the case and kick it over watching for spark. Slow jet in carb will likely be plugged up if its set with gas in the carb. You will know if it only runs on the choke. Id clean & flush the whole fuel system first myself. If it has no compression try setting the valves. Ive had dozens of them and its always one or more of the above
