Thread: lifan 86cc auto clutch 4 speed transmission "sticky"

Hi,
So I have a lifan 86cc auto 4 speed (1 down 3 up) and she is acting a bit peculiar. Here are a bunch of symptoms:

1. FInding neutral is hard. The indicator light sometimes lights when its still in gear. when it does find neutral sometimes the light is off.
2. shifting is tough between 1st and second.
3. from any gear to the next, the gear engagement happens when putting pressure on the gear shift, not on releasing the pressure. On all other bikes I have owned the gear engages after releasing pressure from the gearshift.

I have tried adjusting the clutch (screw all in, 1/8th turn out and lock.... no go.
Any insight appreciated.
