    New Ride

Bought a 2005 model ChongQing version trail-70 copy today.
It is used and has 51 KMs on it.( And 1 accident, Kinda hidden repair)
    Electric start
Says 48cc on the jug,I dont believe it.
It has enough power to be at least a 72 cc , may be an 88 cc.
has an e-22 head on it, for what thats worth.
4 speed with auto clutch and is red in color.
Has Full street directional tires .
Took it down the road and it hit 75 KMH which translated roughly to 45 mph.
The quality, fit and finish of this bike is way lower than on my Black Firehawk Version.
I have a 97cc Stroker engine with a Manual clutch ready to install.
    Pics coming soon.

If you hit 45mph, It's a 72cc for sure. A stock Honda 50 CDI motor tops out at 60 KM/H or around 38mph, but with the E22 head, it is possible with the bigger carb and better flow, it could be a 50cc motor.

Look forward to seeing the pictures. Just make sure you grease the wheel bearings as I've seen some fail with less then 25 miles on the bike. Go through everything!

It has a 18-19mm Carb and a 20 mm intake on it.
This is the 1st 50 cc ( 72cc ??)I have seen with a rotary style 4 speed on it..All Down
1st, second, third, fourth, neutral, 1st, second, etc
You dont have to downshift if you dont want to.
I know quite a few 72 cc had this style transmission and that they were street only...And some People do not like them.
I think it is OK but prefer to shift up and down with a clutch.
Shift patterns on my other engines
My 108 cc manual is 1 down and 3 up, ( Zongshen)
My 97 cc manual is neutral down and 4 up, (Vicious-50/Lifan)

Hey TP - where are you buying your replacement engines? Approximate cost? Also, are you selling your old ones?

The replacement engines are kind of costly, $440 for the 110cc . I got it from someone in California but they are no longer dealing with this engine.
My 100cc engine came from a start-up outfit in Pennsylvania.
I am going to test it out before recommending anything about it.
    .
I am going to sell the factory engine assembly off of the red bike, Has 56 kilometers on it.
Says 48cc but probably really is 72cc , has the e-22 head on it.
It goes 75 kmh/ 45 mph, it is faster than the 4 speed manual 72cc I have.
It is a 4 speed with an auto clutch.
I will probably sell the 72cc 4 speed manual engine also. It has about 20 miles on it.
I will get some pics of them , right now the 4 speed is packed away in a box .

pm me with prices. I have a 91 z50r that has an incorrect early engine in it anyway. Looking for a decent replacement cheap for it. The 49cc engine would be perfect. Any idea whether the original honda auto tranny is interchangeble?

Pics after installing 100cc engine assembly, Pipe and 24mm Carb.
Converted it to a 4 Speed manual.
    Still need an air filter.
I think I may have too big a carb, it bogs if opened fully.May get better with an air filter.
There is only 1 air screw to turn besides the idle screw on this carb.
I have to open the throttle slowly to avoid the bog.
It hit almost 90 KMH on a test run .
I have a MPH speedometer coming for it.
