    Zongshen 124 kill switch

OK, got my motor in and it runs. I slpiced the new wiring harness into the old harness, but i can figure out where to tie in the kill switch wire from the cdi? I thought i could splice the new killswitch wire from the new cdi to the old cdi harness kill switch. When i did this the motor wouldnt run. Unplug these wires and it runs fine, but no kill switch, and the motor will start without the key!

So how do i tie in the kill switch and the keyed ignition? The wiring diagram that came with my bike isnt even close to whats in the bike! The key ignition switch only has two wires, one red, one black. The black and white wire from the cdi should tie into what?

Please help..... im begging. Im so close.... i can taste it.

The black and white wire from the CDI should go to the switch, probably the red wire. The black wire from the switch should go to the coil ground I assume, (usually ground is green on a Chinese bike).
PM me your e-mail and I`ll send you this diagram, the pic is blurry on here.
I have seen 2 different versions of wiring on Chinese bikes. The wires are different colors but usually still go to the same places.
Also there is a difference for bikes that have electric start vs. those that do not.

My bike did have electric start. Should i be wiring into the key ignition switch or to the kill switch? or will wiring into one take care of both? I really dont need my bike to start with out the key.

OK, so i pulled the entire wiring harness out of the bike, and stripped off every piece of tape so i could see every wire, and where it went. It seems that the old cdi had four wires. Green for ground, blue/white to the engine, black to right side control switch, and black/yellow to coil then to the kill switch. It seems when the oil wire is grounded this causes the cdi to stop and the engine cuts off.

The new cdi has a wire thats black/white that is to be hooked to the kill switch, but when i tied it in, the motor wouldnt spark. Do i need to tie in the kill switch wire? Im thinking if i tie in the new cdi black/yellow to the old coil/cdi black yellow, it would work.

If you have any ideas let me know.
