Thread: my z50 monkey clone

Well i bought my first bike its a 2000 panda 3 speed semi auto 50cc. I picked it up for 900 talked the person down from 1200 . I havent rode it yet except for around the block once. It only has 37 miles on it . man do I love this little thing.


Mods I want to do, in no perticular order.
Front Disk Brake
Exhaust
10 Inch Wheels
Michelin Boppers
Motor Swap (once i get used to riding the scoot) 90% done
Remove Dumb Stickers off the gas tank
Better Shocks

what i dream it would look like when im finished (not gonna happen anytime soon)

change in plans ill be getting a 125cc motor instead of the 110cc. i will be trading my 50cc +200 for it.




Edit first problem
Well guys I ran into a lil problem getting the carb on.
It hits the frame when it has the throttle cable on.
The one for the 50cc carb fits, but the 125cc top where the
throttle cable hooks up barely fits with out cable. Ill get
pics up when I get home.

See no room for the throttle cable to be put on

i have been told that this should work. cutting the manifold and using radiator hose should work. what do you guys think about this idea? do you guys think this will work?
