You think this "Looks just like a CT70"
I think a visit to the eye Dr. is in order!
Brian thats hilarious !!! Aye , my gyro looks like a ct as well
Just a couple CT70's **
I was thinking he meant this type...?? Don't know for sure, they are kinda clunky looking compared to a CT, but it looks more like one than the girls bike Champ! HA! This is a lb80-3d I think
Karen -- Is that a later model ? Looks totally different .
Just a couple CT70's **
yeah the chunky champ lb80-3d 1977 thats what im talkin about. they made 2 one looks like a moped the other looks ct70
i searched it others have asked the same question but know one responed so i thought id giver her a shot. theres not many parts and a lifan would be way easyer than jackin with the stock engine, it wouldnt start.
That isn't no CT! Looks cheap! Compare that to a good old 69 or 70 KO. There is no comparison. I wouldn't want that in my yard.![]()

The best bet is to check vintage Yamaha forums...I know people have asked about them here, but there is no interest really...They just didn't/don't compare to a CT70 and didn't sell well, so they didn't mfg many.
As far as the Lifan motor exchange, I would call MyTrailBuddy,Pitster or get ahold of dratv.
There are vintage Yamaha mini forums too...They mainly deal with the old mx mini's,but I have seen the Champs on there in the past.
Do you have one or are you thinking about buying one?
