Rebuilt 88cc - Last One I'm doing [SOLD]

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

Hello all. Today marks the official end to my motor rebuilding days. And this particular motor is a fine example and a very fair price.

This motor is 100% Honda or Honda Trail Bikes parts except three things: The inner rotor ignition system, the wiring harness, and the shift drum are chinese. I swapped the shift drum so it would be a 4-up shifting bike instead of the sometimes problemsome 1dn3up version. I will include the original drum to the person that buys it.

    Here are the specs:

Honda CL70 cases and transmission, PRC shift drum CL70E-301288
Honda crf50 crankshaft (yes this is a 12v conversion)
Honda Trailbikes clutch system (older two plate but can be converted to three plate for $15)
Honda Trailbikes race head with 25/22 valves and tb300 camshaft
Brand new Honda trailbikes 52mm piston and cylinder
Brand new Honda trialbikes race head
Brand New honda trailbikes intake manifold, carb, and filters (prejetted for the kit)
New Wire harness to get you running with key switch and coil.
    New inner rotor
    New Clutch Cable
    I'll throw in a sprocket for you too...I think I have 13, 14, 15, 16....you choose.

All the used parts have very little, if any wear on them. Obviously new gaskets and seals and case screws and such. Motor is beautiful.

This bike is not setup to run your lights but you can get an ignition off ebay for about $30 and then you can run your lights just fine.

    The Trailbikes parts new cost:
    165 for the clutch setup
349 for the boreup with carb kit
    40 on the inner rotor

This is a mount and go motor, ready to run with all electrics. You just add your kicker, side cover, and shifter and have fun. Great for a z50 that requires no lights, but could easily be converted to a 12v lighting system.
And, this being my last motor, I'm going to offer it up at a great price. $450 and shipping.

would you be willing to take a good running stock motor & 4 speed trans plus cash?

or do you have any parts leftover from other builds that i could buy?

    pm sent

    I sent you a PM.

I am not going to be taking any more motor cores...I'm done building these. If you need spare motor parts, I have tranny's, clutches, a really nice crank, and misc engine bits I'll be selling. I have kickstart gears for 4-speeds and shifter shafts for 4 speeds too.

    updated the listing

    I updated this listing.

I got to thinking about reliability and decided that I was unsatisfied with putting on a used head, so I took it all apart and examined it really good and found some issues. I tried to repair them, but I was unsatisfied with the repairs. I have sent the head back to TB and it will be replaced with a brand new one.

So, basically, this is a motor with a brand new 88cc race head kit. That being the case, this is practically a brand new motor at this point.

I think it would be a perfect addition for a z50 since it is not setup for lights, but I would walk anyone through a light conversion if they wanted it for a ct70 or other. I could do the conversion for cost of parts (new or used) if you were interested.

    Currently on ebay.

I have this 88cc available and a 95cc available in 6v that will go right in a ct70 or z50 with no mods required. The 95cc is in another classified ad.

I recently picked up a 1981 CT70 in great shape. Cosmetically great and mechanically sound. I am considering another motor simply to get more top end out of it (but lights are necessary as I'd like to keep it street legal...I run around town with it)

Are there any cheap performance upgrades, sproket changes, etc that could get me another 10mph on the top end (from stock)? Or would I be better off with a new motor?
