Nice bike but, it's missing the skid plate and has the wrong axle nuts and a K1 carb.
I missed the plastic levers. How do you know that? I don't see pictures of the bars.

Look at the Z50 pic, note the handlebar that I'm assuming (ut-oh!) belongs to this CT. Plastic rear brake lever. Good catch on the carb.

LOL! Nice. I see it now. Black plastic. That's classy. No wonder he doesn't post a picture of the bars. It also has the one piece left side cover.

I bet he put the Z50 picture in by mistake.

Black plastic levers on the early model CT's were standard equipment. Dennis D is very familiar with these levers as he has a couple CT's with the plastic levers. These levers are very rare as most of them broke off when a youngster would wipe out.

I sent him an email for some better pics. The early ones do have a one piece left points cover. Also i noticed it has the unpainted strap on the main wiring harness, which is only the 3rd one i've seen like this.

I remember "Mini Bike Magazine" tested a CT70 way back when the first came to the 'States. (I wore the pages of that issue out...) Yup, they crashed, and broke the lever. Had all kinds of pictures of it as it happened.

I noticed the rubber boot off the air cleaner is not even seated proper and the clamp is on funky.

Yes, indeed the early ones came with black plastic levers (I think only on the'69 if I'm not mistaken). I saw a new pair of these not too long ago go for over $400, very, very rare. Honda started having so many problems, they changed to the aluminum.
