Thread: Headlight/Speedo options

What is everybody using/running? Stock or custom. Post pics if you have them. Main issue seems to be mounting conflicts with Takegawa meters with stock OEM Honda headlight buckets. Anybody running HID on these custom bikes yet? Thanks to all who have contributed so far.

There are HID kits available for all the Honda Minis out of Japan. Where are you going to hide the huge box needed to run the HID's on a CT70? I don't see where you could possibly hide the huge box to run the HID's. I'm sure it can be done if someone put their mind to it.



95% of the people here are running stock speedos.

Either switch out your headlamp bucket and get a new one painted running an aftermarket speedo/tach/diaper changer, or go the custom route like we discussed with the stock headlamp bucket. You can also run a 1991-1994 CT70 headlamp bucket and install a CT110 speedo or CB175 speedo that goes up to 80-100 mph depending on the speedo.

Or mount a speedo and tach on the bars.
