The Nice and Wave engines will bolt into a CT70, you can even retain the engine & sparkplug guards. Two mods are required. The carb needs to be offset to the LH side (mothball the stock airbox with the original engine) and a wider footrest asembly is needed. The stock 18mm carb that came with the Nice is okay, but the needle height is fixed and that limits tuning. Add a free flowing exhaust and it'll run slightly lean. The solutions are as follows: replace the intake with a 22mm Kitaco piece, install a 20 or 22mm carb with a K&N air filter. Mikuni VM22 carbs can be had cheap. Find a Chinese footrest assembly from a 110-125cc CT replica bike, these fit well with 1/2-5/8" thick spacers. The OE Nice footrest assembly is still available. It's a rubber-isolated unit and fits perfectly, of course. However, the kickstand will need lengthening and the pegs don't fold.

These are relatively minor mods and since they're bolt-ons can be easily undone, whenever you wish. I'll send you a PM regarding sources for these engines and parts.

Don't know if you're still looking for info on this. There's no reason it shouldn't fit in a CT70. To answer your other question, yes, I have one. Here are some photos. http://www.motoenzo.com/MiniTrailRebuild/zb50.htmlEnzo

    chinese foot rests?

would the foot rest from Trailbuddy fit the nice engine? And how does the kickstand work on the PRC one?

    Thanks

Shame on you putting Trailbuddy and Honda Nice 110 in the same sentence!

im only putting a few "trailbuddy" parts on my K2H yellow honda

handlebars (to keep the origonals in good shape) new rims and tires, Seat(old one isn't worth fixing, pan has been welded several times) shocks-will upgrade to some better ones later and a foot rest while Im cutting and welding the origonals.

the origonal 70H motor is in mint condition but I needed more power, 12v for blinkers/lights.

I can always reverse what Ive done.

I'm just giving you a hard time. It really is an amazing motor though, mine is nowhere near broken in and it runs and shifts like a dream. Effortless and a dream to ride, almost like a full-sized bike. Love it more every day.
