Red face Changed a Lifan Manual to Auto clutch

Not a question, but to tell what you can do.

I Changed a Lifan Manual to Auto clutch using a Honda auto clutch, shift shaft and sidecase.

The Lifan shift shaft lookes a little stronger than the Honda automatic, but it fit. The Lifan had an 18 tooth primary gear so I did not have to change the primaries.

The reason I went to an auto is because a MOPED requires an auto.

Yesterday I got the all new wiring installed and got to ride it.

It works great. It shifts better than my old 3 speed after it gets warmed up (1 minute). I think the shifting shaft bearing just needs some breakin.

It's nice to have a closer ratio. It is not broken in yet (22 miles) so I don't know how fast it goes. It does have much better than my worn out 72cc.
