As for price I really don't know what is fair for it. I was looking at the bike and this is what I do know, I had the Honda dealer do a complete rebuild. So it had new piston, rings, valves were done etc along with some tranny stuff that was changed out just because it was apart and had some time on it. It was a pretty big bill I should see if I can find it. I am not sure if it needed it or not the bike ran when we put it in storage and it turned over when it came out I just took it in to get it running and they told me it needed rebuilding. I also had new tires and tubes put on it, new tygon fuel lines, carb done etc basically everything to make it a nice running bike again. The seat was recovered years ago and rims were blasted, epoxy primed and imron painted grey which was as close as i could get to the original in the imron line.
So basically to make the bike all original it needs rims, engine halves painted honda silver, new seat cover, and a really good cleaning. I had it listed for $1800 OBO and had guys writing me and saying its really an early 80's bike and that its only worth $300 and that its not original and why does it have primer on the rims etc. It honestly made me sick considering we have had this bike forever and taken really good care of it. I understand that its not 100% perfect but I think my asking price was fair, I had $1800 OBO in mind based on the fact that there are 80's ones that are beat to crap selling for around the $1000 to $1200 mark in my area.
But as I said I was just getting tired of it taking up space and hence why I wanted to sell it. But after poking around here I think I might just clean it up and use it as despite the few little incorrect parts its still a very nice bike with original paint. It has never need rained on, never left outside, always had regular oil changes, and if I sold this one and bought another how many can have that said for them

Thanks I have that updated now!
Those "guys" were just looking to steal it for 300 bucks... I'd hang on to that bike, and if you really need the cash, hold out for the big bucks. On the other hand when the whole economy goes to hell in a handbag, you and the rest of us can burn the high priced gasoline in our little Honda's.![]()
Thats a keeper,it sounds very well taken care of,If you sold it you would regret it and putting one together from parts and pieces is expensive and very trying.
I bought one for a CT90 from Ebay Tammy about two years ago and it fit perfectly. It is also holding up well and has the Honda logo stencil on the back. I have heard conflicting quality reports from others to be careful.

Thats my fear with the seats, the vinyl comes in so many different grades. I would love to find one the same as the original.
On saturday night I pulled the bike out and started cleaning it up, even with the old gas it fired up pretty easy. Getting excited for spring now!
