This showed up today on Craigslist:

I am so used to what we had as kids and what we see in these threads that it's sometimes hard to believe how many variants there are. I signed up for the Argentinian Dax web forum which seems to be as active as this one is!

The JDM variants are far & away the most interesting as many of them combined the best of CT & ST features with some unusual OEM colors not offered in any other regional market. I've seen examples of the White Dax with both K0 & K1 style front ends, but this is the only one I've ever seen with the crank-off front end (which is consistent with the earliest production models). For the connoisseur, this bike is one incredible find.

My wife would insist it in "pink" - I won't be able to ride it then :mad:

I want it. But its a little pricey for me. Probably worth it though.

Here are some pictures of mine (in the blog, address below)in the before and during stage. I am ready to ship the frame etc off for paint and will start rebuilding the engine. It was a runner when I bought it off eBay in the UK, paid £1000 ($2000) for it, and fully restored will command about the same as the one above. I can use all the original parts bar very few, like some cables etc, but otherwise it will be all original. Called the Lady Dax here, mine is a 1975 UK model(different fenders). Did all dax's come with the stub exhaust? I have only seen them on very early 69 ct70's.
