The guy says it is all original, but got any tips on what i should check out to make sure i am getting what he says it is?
Check for rub marks on the upper frame where the seat bumpers make contact. If you post some detailed picture once you get it, we'll be able to spot anything that doesn't jive. I hope you get it. Many will envy you once you have it. Good Luck!

Hey Flash I Graduated in 75 too. But I have a feeling it was at or almost the bottom of the class...You know "Sit in the back, Don't be a problem and I might Pass you."

Hey I too graduated in '75...Went in the military (Air Force) in '76, and then retired from the military in 2000...
Boy, do I feel old when I look at it that way....

no patina after 35 years for an advertised original bike...paint looks way to fresh as well...i dunno may be the bike sat in somebodys shop all these years...but i bet its been refurbished in a lot of areas...personally $1500 is 4-speed territory...but for a complete bike in this condition and running you may be ok but its on the high side...good find (and yes prices are way up on some models)

ps: thats a repaint from you last pic...every honda little bike i have ever seen was never painted that well inside the frame....there was overspray but never any serious attempt to paint inside the frame..course pictures hide a lot of stuff so i dunno
