no patina after 35 years for an advertised original bike...paint looks way to fresh as well...i dunno may be the bike sat in somebodys shop all these years...but i bet its been refurbished in a lot of areas...personally $1500 is 4-speed territory...but for a complete bike in this condition and running you may be ok but its on the high side...good find (and yes prices are way up on some models)
ps: thats a repaint from you last pic...every honda little bike i have ever seen was never painted that well inside the frame....there was overspray but never any serious attempt to paint inside the frame..course pictures hide a lot of stuff so i dunno
