    Clutch side question

I pulled the clutch side cover off of a 1970 HKO when I removed it a very small coil spring and sleeve that the spring will slide in one end fell out. I have no clue where this goes I have looked at the service manual but didn't see it there.
The sleeve will slide into the end of the crank but I can't see why it would go there?

    Any ideas are appreciated.

That is where it goes. It is part of the clutch release and the oiling system. Part #14 is the spring and #13 is the sleve in the following diagram.

    if it's a 3 speed auto

    # 6 or 11 may be the spring your talking about.
