    Cost for Insurance

Here in CA we have to put insurance on our bikes to ride them on the street. Who are you with and how much are you paying. I have 2 CT's and Z50 on my policy and I am paying over a $150 a year just for liabilty. Dosent even cover the bike if it gets damaged. I think that is high.

Gieco, California, One CT70 with liability cost me $99.00 a year. It was my first insured motorcycle and I hadn't yet got my license or attended a safety course. I've since went and got both. I'm certain next years policy will be much cheaper.

Well it looks like I am pretty much in line then. I have mine through Progressive. I am going to do a little searching around and see if I can find us some cheaper and better coverge.

Let me know what you find. I have my auto insurance with Gieco but, will insure my bike elsewhere if the price and coverage is right.

Progressive quoted me at $150 a year for full coverage at a value of $3,000. Nationwide qouted me around $30 for liability for the year. THis is for the state of California.

Idaho, State Farm, $10 month for liability. Also does not cover bike if damaged and my fault. Maybe I am paying too high but I opted to pay monthly rather than Yearly or Bi-yearly which would lower the cost. I pay the same for my Yamaha 1100 as my CT70.

I have my bikes insured through my Independent agent and for an insured value of $5,000 each it cost me around $140 or $150 a year. Must provide receipts for full value to be re-imbursed in the event of loss. Keep those receipts everyone!

I made a manual with summary sheet for my receipts on my HKO. Its pretty thick with lots of pages. I bet the DR. misses my orders now the projects complete.
