great story
Liked that story a lot. Anyone else "read between the lines"? 19mph average speed sound very slow. But, on trails, that's moving right along, with some good stretches well into the 30s. Trust me on this, when riding on unpaved surfaces, with lots of loose sand/dirt/marbles, 35-40mph is flying on 4.00 x 10 Trailwing tires. I'd imagine that with a pair of beefier rear shocks and getting the electrics squared away, that bike will have no trouble completing that same ride next time around. And, there may not be much of a gap in finishing times. IMO, Honda got it right, over 40 years ago.
I wonder why it died on him?
