    Engine reference?

I purchased a CT70 engine because it was a clutch/4spd model. I'd like to verify the year it might've come from but can't seem to find a reference for engine #s only from frame #s. Any tips? CT70E-206294 I'll probably post to sell eventually but thought I should know more about it first.

I thought if it was an "H" model, there was an "H" in the engine serial number, right after the "E"? I'm pretty sure that serial number of yours would indicate that it's a 3-speed semi-automatic.

Hmmm- that would be a dissapointing revelation. I know with the frame that the H and K is found, but again I know nothing on these engines.

    If the engine serial doesn't start CT70HE- it isn't an H. CT70E-206294 is from a CT70-K1.
