Thread: Green battery value

I picked up a parts bike the other day and in one of the boxes of parts was a brand new green honda yuasa in the box.

I'm curious what it's worth...i was thinking of using it for trade if it's a desirable piece.

Thanks for the info...i'll just run it in one of my mini's...same price as buying an aftermarket.

I agree!although hard to get anymore,it has a limited life span,therefore you cant expect to get rich quick off it.it may be something to save if your entering a concours CT70bike show.

Had no intention of getting rich....was thinking of helping someone out that has to have a green one and get something i need in return.

Speaking of the limited life span thing...does that apply if the battery has never had acid in it ?

If the battery has never been filled, it will last indefinitely. Once the cells are flooded the plates will begin to deteriorate immediately
