Thread: Info on Clubs, Swap Meets, Etc

Hi

I live in Nebraska and am interested in any information regarding any type of get together that involves CT70s. It could be a local club, swap meets, rides, parades, etc. Is there a website that lists this type of info? Any feedback would be helpful.

Maybe this Trail 70 Webboard should start another forum for just CT70 events!?

I agree something to consider. I live in Il and would love to see what clubs are in around here

I live in a norhtern sub of Chicago and came across this site www.walneckswap.com it has all sorts of good info on swap meets. I personally will be attending the lake county fair swap in november and the st charles swap in december. Dean

There are also Walneck Swapmeets on Oct 8 in sandwich Ill and October 15 in Springfield Ohio.
The swapmeets in March and April are usually the best ones to attend, at least in Ohio.
Everyone has Tax refund $$$ if you are a seller,
and the stuff they worked on all winter for sale
or the 1/2 finished projects they worked on and didnt finish and are ready to sell.
I see several basket case CT-70`s each show I attend, some are overpriced and some are not

Agreed, that's a good idea. I always thought that events would just get posted in the "trails & rides" folder. Just shows to go ya'...

Since the country covers a LOT of real eatate, some regional events, mainly based around rides, would do a lot for the small bike community. Even with rides pulling in participants from a 200 mile radius, lead time is a big issue. I'd like to see some input regarding possible 2007 events. It's getting pretty late in the season for `06.
