    Smile KO Throttle

I'm installing a new throttle kit on my KO. The throttle assembly has pieces that go into the handle bar tube. Do any of these components need lube? If so, will the lube distroy the rubber grip.

    Thanks.

A little grease on the parts never hurts. you dont need a lot.

Light grease, such as Lubriplate, is ideal for the internals. The vinyl grip won't be damaged by grease, but it probably will slip on the throttle pipe and that's annoying. Lube & assemble the guts, then completely clean the outside of the throttle pipe before installing the grip. If you need to lube the grip itself, then a little lightly soapy water is your best bet.
