I was looking at the required equipment to make it legal on my bike, and all i need is mirrors, now i seen some at dratv at http://www.dratv.com/miset2forc70.html,, now on my bike i did not see any holes, or i could of missed them. any help with these when i order them would be great, just not sure how to mount them with no holes

Yes Trailryder is right. If your bars are not set up to receive mirrors than order ones with universal clamps. It wont look as neat as stock bars that were made for mirrors but they will work and will make your bike legal.

I hate mirrors on mine, make the bike look goofy, I only put them on if I plan on riding far from my house so I dont get a ticket.

No I mean order "mirrors" that come with universal clamps to put on your handlebars. Depending on your year of bike they might not have been made to receive mirrors. On these type of bars you have to get mirrors with universal clamps.

Not certain about the requirements in your state but, I think you only need one mirror on a bike of this age. (one of the benefits of vintage machinery) A clamp-on type with a nylon insulator won't mar the chrome. If you're after a slicker mounting method, then check a local motorcyle shop for a mirror that attaches with a through bolt. It should be possible the replace the LH lever pivot bolt with the mirror mounting bolt from below. It may or may not be necessary to enlarge the hole in the lever perch.

I bet it wouldnt be too hard to drill a couple holes and tap & die them if youre real careful... Probably not something I would try myself, hehe, but that way you could use the CT 70 specific mirrors and get the slick look you're looking for...

Unless of course all your looking for is a couple of universal mirrors then it would be much easier to just go with the clamp ons
