I received my seat from Tammy today also, I'm real happy with it, better than the Viet Nam seat, One thing, Go for the cheapest you can get from either supplier, I ended up getting one for $79 + $16 shipping from one and $110 from the other, THEY BOTH CAME FROM TAMMY!! SAME COMPANY!

Darth, I'll give you that in many ways the CHP seat is better, but for what I will use it for, the Asian seat is perfect and it fills a big void in the hobby, for the price it can't be beat, and I have a garage full of basically riders, and when I show one for sale it makes a big difference having a nice new seat, I'm a big guy so the foam issue is actually better for me and I don't have to worry about tearing up a hard to find original on my pit bikes. I collect as many NOS and nice original parts as I come across also, for the bikes I will restore correctly, but like I say it's nice to only spend $100 and get something that makes a ton of difference in the look of the bike.I will take some pics tonight of it next to a nice original I have to show how close it is.

Sounds good look forward to seeing the pictures. I understand what you mean. That's why I was going to attempt to organize a group buy from CHP to get a great price on a great seat.

However it sound like most here are happy sending all of the $ offshore.

It's a personal choice but I for one want as much of my money to stay state side especially with all the mass layoffs etc.

    Looking forward to the pictures.

    Never said that read....please.

He spent 11k is tooling upfront has them made over there resell's them here. He is an American who made a business investment an in return when he sells a seat he make some money which helps pay his salary and expenses and his 7 employees. He also contibutes taxes to the USA as do his employees.

So he is doing something as a small business man to contribute in a positive way to our US economy.

So it's much better than the tax evading job stealing goofs on ebay. maybe not in a big way like I already said but in todays economy ever little bit helps.

Can't believe people are negative about this.....amazing.
