Picking up my 1972 CT 70 (three speed) tomorrow and I've questions:

I would like to know where's/what's the best way/place to get the following items I need for my CT 70. She's in need of very little repair and these are what she needs:
    1. Battery
    2. front lamp bulb
    3. Rear lamp
    4. Dual speedo & odom cables
    Thanks, all.

    Welcome

Dratv.com is a good and reasonably priced site for the parts you need. Only issue will be the cables, they are only available in black, but you can paint them with Ecklers A1938E Silver vinyl paint and they will look almost original. (www.ecklers.com).

    Good Luck

There's another good source for cables (gray) but not sure if I can post the link here since I don't know if they sponsor this site.

I see some sites out there, try:
Please title this page. (Page 3)

    hondanuts.com/afterparts.html

    or

    loudfastugly.com/cables/Hcables.html

    They both advertise grey cables.

    Good Luck

I'd say go ahead and post it. If it's a problem our ever diligent moderators will surely help us out with some clarification on what's ok and what's not.

    Besides, . . . what's the old saying, . . . "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission."

    Cables

    I'm there for ya.

I got a gray clutch cable for an H from those folks a while back. Just like the original. The gray color was a little darker, but I just assumed that the old cables were faded with age. It was close enough for the fella who owned the mini, . . . he was happy.
