Hagerty insurance will charge you less than $150 annually with an agreed value of $3500.

Liability insurance is even less. I have three motorcycles insured for less than $100.00 a year with Gieco. Note: I have completed a motorcycle safety course which might have helped reducing my rate.

I have my bike road legal now in NY. These are the forms I had to fill out. I had to get insurance on it first. it cost $72 but i paid the extra $20 for full coverage so $92 for the year.
