I have a 110 cc with a 36 tooth rear sprocket. Seems like I could go with a few less teeth to gain some speed? I am after lower rr's than hole shots. Any recommendations? Thanks

I think it would be easier to simply change the front sprocket
Good point. However it seems I mostly just see rear sprockets for sale. I will look because your are right. That would be much easier.

Your right! They do sell those. dah... I will try a 16 tooth. Cheaper and easier. Works for me.

a bunch of sprockets for sale in the "For Sale" section if interested.![]()
let me know what you think about the new front sprocket, i also have a 110, that i will be puting in a ct70 and might need to do the same thing.
See? Simple solutions own all. You might not have "quite" the adjustability if you change the front instead of the rears, but at this point we're talking about splitting hairs (one tooth... two teeth... 2-5 mph difference? Not even?) and you're certainly not a MotoGP racer =P
Will let you know. I got the Lifan 110 and have been very happy with the upgrade. It's night and day compared to the stock 70cc. I bought these wiring adapters and the engine swap was a snap. http://www.dratv.com/keeping6volt.html I did not need to cut into any of my original wires on the bike which I really liked. Made for a nice clean install. The headlight is WAY brighter too!!
