Thread: so many questions

Have had a trail 70 in the shed for years. Just now got the time and lettle money to go thru it. What i dont know is where to start, whats there whats not there, what to buy what not to buy, who to buy from and who not to buy from. Any info will be helpful

First thing to decide is what you want to do with it...rider, restomod, ratbike, custom, stock restoration... and go from there. Here's a place to get a quck history & identification lesson:

There's a lot of information to absorb in a single take. Give yourself some time to look around and do some homework, then it'll be easy enough making informed decisions. Like any other project, you take it in individual steps until it's done. These bikes are fairly simple, so there aren't that many steps.

www.DrATV.com is a great source for parts. So is www.hondanuts.com. From these two you can source just about everything you might need, if it's still made. Otherwise e-bay has lots of stuff too. Have fun and like RacerX said, decide what you want to build before you start and it could save you lots of money (i.e. if you are just building a rider, you may not need new handlebars or fenders, used might work just fine.)
