Just a suggestion, but those small of parts can be PC'd yourself and the equip to do that is very affordable...If you ever did another one it would be paid for quick.

Really...Its been a while since I looked into it (decade) and if its affordable to do it yourself, that could come in handy because after I finish my bike...my Mustang is next.
    Thanks for the tip!

I was wondering about Primer because I always use one and it seems to me that the wheels will need to be extra tough and to resist chipping but I'm wondering if it will affect the finish.
Anybody use primer for the wheels and if so what color? TIA

I'm planning to spray in May-June when it hits 100F, But wanna have it prepped and ready to paint.
I always cure my paint projects in the desert sun for 24hrs, I highly recommend it.
I just used some gray primer from the auto parts store and the duplicolor paint that someone else already mentioned. It turned out well, and I also sprayed it with clear lacquer after the wheel color. It turned out nice for my rider.

hornetgod - do you have an on-line link for the honda cloud silver paint? I have tried all the colors that have been mentioned and have found none be that close. I spend a small fortune on these bikes and figure 20 bucks is a small price to pay for perfection. I was going to go ahead and order it from local Honda dealer. I found it at DFW Honda here in Texas for $19.00. This is the Honda shop featured on trail70.com, really cool shop they have lots of restored bikes hanging from the ceiling.

Adam, Flash- I would really be interested in a side by side compare with all the colors using the Honda as the base. When I looked earlier at the honda vs other colors, could not see a difference with the Duplicolor wheel paint, silver. For me its more about going out and getting it vs ordering and waiting, as long as the price delta is reasonable. Would love to see some close up shots when done.
