There is nooooo way I would let him borrow mine for the weekend ----now!
Back in the day myself and about ten other kids{ circa 1970} rode them like there was no tomorrow. That was then, this is now. Back then they were 350 bucks brand new. Now there 4000 bucks and more in that original new condition. We beat the ever loving crap out of them and they just kept running. If I would make a jump now like I did back then my spine would be crushed. I am just saying that all that abuse is what I remember the fondest about CTs as a kid. We did not worry about mechanical abuse. We just wanted to see who could jump them the highest and which one went the fastest.
I think thats ridiculous to tear a bike up like that....a 69 frame at that.
I'm glad he got poked in the beehind and ripped his jeans....+1 for the CT
We used to ride quarries here and they are a blast along with parts of them being very dangerous, but we never went out with the plan to tear up the bikes and ATC/ATV's like these yahoos.
That's why i don't let mine outside. One day i'll drag a badly bent frame out of the attic and post a pic.
Here's some places we rode for moocho miles back in the day...
Thanks for the link HG. I thought it was great. Looked like a lot of fun.
