Thread: whats the deal with dr atv?

i placed an order last week and got the automatic confirmation email immediately. when i go to check my order on their site, the order status and tracking field are blank. ive tried emailing them and phoning them both to no avail. i have more parts that i forgot to order but dont want to place it until i find out whats going on with the first one. are they on vacation/closed? anybody know the deal?

I placed an order last Sunday and received the parts on Thursday. I received the same conformation reply but no tracking info. My parts were shipped USPS priority mail.

while I don't know the exact "deal with dr. atv" my dealings with them leads me to believe that it's run by someone older who has no idea how internet commerce, or even any sort of mail-order purchasing works.

I was trying to order parts from him up to Canada. I got the impression that the procedure was fairly lengthy and questionable, maybe their mail gets picked up by a horsebacked pony express delivery man, I don't know.

The stuff eventually does show up, though

there is an option to choose wich shipping process you want. if you choose ups you will get a tracking number. if you choose usps you will not get a tracking number. I ordered an exhaust from them 2 days ago. they sent tracking numbers and it should arrive today. hopefully.

they must have forgotten about mine. i ordered last friday, i finally got an email back this afternoon saying they will ship it today ups so i should get it next week. ive always heard how fast they ship, guess thats not the case with me

Exhaust just arrived 5 minutes ago. looks good superfast shipping.

I order stuff from them all the time ands im amazed how fast everything shows up. So far no problems at all . Dean

I am with you Dean, I have ordered from them and others and they are by far the quickest delivery.

Same here. I have ordered from Jack 10+ times over the last 3 years and have always gotten my orders within 3-5 days.
