Thread: 110cc Speedo issues..(not working)

Hi I've got a mini chopper with a 110cc (107 I think it's a Zongshen? or a Lifan? don't know the difference yet)

Anyway, my speedo doesn't work at all and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a diagram or a pin out off the speedo connection from the engine or the gauge?

the speedometer is driven off a cable that runs to the front wheel.
My PRC speedo is also VERY tempermental, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. THe odometer always works, though.

The guys here say that it's something inside the speedometer unit that is binding and preventing the needle from moving

hmmm mine doesn't seem to go the front wheel but rather it goes back to the engine somewhere.. it's in mph too..

it's an electric speedo gauge.. not a cable one.. does anyone use electric ones who can tell me where it's supposed to connect?
