    12v Wiring harness questions...

I received a wiring harness, ignition coil, voltage reg. and CDI box with my motor. I went to DrAtv and looked at their conversion wiring kits to still use the stock harness with the new 12v ignition.
What I am wondering is, is my new harness worth using? I have no idea how to hook it up. I have attached some pics of it with some close-ups of the ends.

The rest of the pics are in Part 2 of this thread.

www.hooperimports.com has some pretty good 12volt wiring diagrams that will tell you exactly which wire goes to what.
    Basic wiring from your engine-
There should be 6 wires total .
5 wires off the engine and 1 wire from the neutral indicator switch. I have seen 2 different color variations on my engines for the wiring though but always 6 wires unless the neutral indicator switch is not there.
These 6 wires come out of the engine -----
Yellow ( generator to regulator) is for Lights/Rectifier
White ( generator to regulator) is for the Rectifier regulator.
    Solid green is ground
Blue/white stripe( CDI trigger pulse) connects to either Blue/yellow or Red/White depending on version of CDI harness you have
Black/Red ( Power to CDI unit-not from battery)connects to Red/black or Red/yellow depending on version of the CDI harness you have
Light Green/Red stripe is for neutral indicator switch and comes off the engine but under the left cover by the drive sprocket is the black neutral switch it attaches to.
    .
Black/yellow wire from CDI box goes to coil.
    Green from coil to ground
Black/Wht stripe from CDI Box is kill switch

I also used the same wiring you have to install a Zongshen 124cc engine on a 2005 CRF-70 Rolling Chassis I bought that had no electrical at all on it.

Why are there four wires that look like they attach to the battery?

The red cable should be Battery ( + ), the green cable should be battery (- ).
The other 2 wires with the boots on them appear to attach to the coil
