Took apart "easy" part of clutch (cover, adjuster) and found a small rubber o-ring on the adjuster stem-the part that goes through the cover and holds the nut. The rubber o-ring was inside the engine cover and the washer and nut were on the outside cover. When I put the cover back on, the bike ran a bit but started to leak oil behind the adjuster nut.

I now have the clutch discs, springs, new adjuster stem and rubber o-ring to do the complete job.

Question is about the little o-ring on the adjuster stem. Does it go on the stem inside the case or outside after the stem has come through the cover and under the washer/adjuster nut?
