Thread: Carb bolts stripped

Hey there im a noob but been checking out the board for a while.

Here's the deal, I picked up 2 complete K0's for 600 bucks and am starting to restore them 1 at a time. Upon rebuilding my carb I found that the guy before me had used some very non OEM screws and has stripped out one of the screws that holds the petcock on so it just spills gas. Any way to fix that or am I stuck buying a new carb?

Get you some helicoils.They work great on this.
